Half past supper and a finish sort of Finnish and a start again

Well I did finish the bunny blanket yesterday! And I only had a little of the middle pink yarn left! Yay me!
(But there is still plenty hot pink left...)

So today I made a small border of single crochet all around and declared the blanket was finished!
The size is 103X63 cm so more than enough for either a baby or a lapghan.

I used this pattern and the yarn was a Finnish acrylic yarn I bought in Sweden about five years ago (so that is how long this poor blanket has been neglected) called Helen by Novita.
(why I only find Finnish yarn in Sweden and Swedish yarn in Finland I have no idea, the grey yarn I thought was Finnish that I bought in Finland called Ville Viking is actually Norwegian but exclusively sold in Finland, very confusing I know...)

Valmin on the blanket for size comparison.
The blanket weighs 534 grams which means I can now buy 10 skeins of wool yarn for my kitties in a row afghan.

I haven't stretched it or anything yet so I hope it turns a bit more symmetrical after that but honestly I am just happy I finished it.

And I remembered I could download the pattern onto my iPad and use that to finish so I didn't have to wait until M bought more ink for the printer which I feel a little ashamed I didn't think of sooner, hehe. *sweatdrop*
But the bunny looks good, I am really loving this pattern, it is the yarn that irks me, I have to have the TV on quite high so I don't hear the yarn squeek whilst I am crocheting because that is so bothersome.  Now I remember why I hate acrylic yarn. Too bad I still have 13 skeins of it....

I know I used the grey to make a Stark Trek ship for M. So if I have any left when I am done I will perhaps make another...

You may ask when you are done with what? Aren't you done with the bunny blanket? Well, yes, I am, but I kinda started another and I hope to use up the rest of the acrylic yarn too. Oops, atleast until I can go to the shop and buy the yarn for that other blanket I started, which I am hoping means I can buy 23 skeins of yarn... *Drool... more yarn....*
Tada, I made another start

Bunnies are appalled by my lack of will power and bending of rules and whatnot.
- Did you hear that Valmin, yesterday she said she would finish two things before starting one, but she clearly did not. Humans are so dumb. Why do we even keep them?
- They have the food dear.
- Right, where is my supper? It is clearly half past supper already!

Choo-choo

It is finish Friday! And I have a....

....start. 315 stitches per row. Sorry for the poor quality photo, but there isn't much light here in the evenings.
But it is on my 2016 wish list.

But I do have a semi-finish, not much bigger than it was about a year ago but I think it is big enough for our table, just need to weave in some ends.

Next stop: ending station, good night from the bunny train.

In business, a champion and a finish

I am still in business...

...still chugging along on my knitted shawl thing...

... I have a finish too...

....I made an iPad cover for my iPad, it fits perfectly in it as well... Yay...
Just need another button....

....I have made another swatch, and swatch number 1 fits if I stretch it a little, but the pattern needs stretching anyway I think, so thats good.  So at the moment I am trying swatch number three and tomorrow I am off to buy yarn...

... Some more painting, I love things to match so I made an executive decision and painted the frame to match my box. I do like to paint, but I like it even better when things match and are visually pleasing to look at. Besides the frame is mine and inside were my old bunnies so it fits to be pink I think...

....Valmin is also making lots of improvements and is currently a sofa champion...

A friendly heart

I am being a good girl and checking my gauge whilst making a swatch. I hope this yarn will fit, although I think the pink would have been nicer in a slightly darker shade. But we will see, so far the pattern has not been too difficult, but I need to check the other parts of the pattern as well, so you will likely see some more swatches soon.

Sandnes babyull garn, although it appears that particular colour might be going out, but their web page states four other pinks, so I guess I am good. :p

My friend made me some flowers, aren't they lovely?
Thank you.

And some very green leaves that were impossible to take a photo of because they were so tiny.

With my flowers I think I almost have a full bouquet so I guess the rest of the flowers will turn into table decorations:)

I am ending this post with some bunny love... Valmin is grooming Mimle.

A started Finish

I started a table cloth and then I finished it in the same day!
Since it was fast and relatively easy I am going to make some more, I have the same yarn in blue and purple so I need to make at least one of each:)

And so I have another Christmas Present finished and I know just who to give it to too.
And I think I need one for myself as well, in pink of course.

Oh and I am happy because Kago and Tsuji are hanging out together again^^ Yatta.

Oh yes I did

Again.
Can you guess what I did?

I started something new! But I am sticking to my two finished before starting something new rule, because then eventually (hopefully) I won't have anymore Wips. So I am being good.

Can you tell what I am making yet?
Can you guess?

Yes, it is another bunny design. Can you guess who it is for?  This design is just for me. It has bunnies you see.
Although that cute little bunny couple in the bottom right corner looks just right for a Valentine Card. Lets hope Pako is as generous with their threads as Bothy threads are:D If so then I know what boyfriend will receive in oh, about, six months.
( Never too early to plan ahead right? I mean I just finished a present that is more than a year early.)

Oh, and since I am showing off bunnies. Here is my little one. She has been busy throwing hay around making her best effort to turn our house into a barn and is taking a well deserved rest before she will no doubt complain about all the hay everywhere and what kind of hotel is this where the maids have been slacking off on their vacuum duties.
