Påskekos in the house

This Vacation has seen us doing lots of little home-improvement and life-hacking along with some serious "kos" time, so want to see some accomplishments?

Yesterday we were at some friends house and played cards, I had lots of fun, I didn't win though, which usually equals no fun so I guess that proves how good the game is. 

And yes, I brought knitting, crochet and cross-stitch, because you never know what you are in the mood for. 

Since I started my shawl with the long end my rounds are going faster and faster and it seems I will only use two or three skeins which means there will be plenty left to make a crochet border. ^^

I am definitely making another one later, but this year is about me, it is about time I made some stuff for myself too.

Oh, and about things for myself, I have finished painting my dollhouse, three coats of shiny white and  it looks good if I may say so myself. Here are all my knitting-crochet-sewing books and patters and some boxes with yarn and started projects. I think I will like this corner. Let's just hope the bunnies know how to leave it alone...

The bunting on top is something I made a few weeks ago. I think I will make another because it looks so cute on top of my house like that.

In the ongoing season of bunny-proofing everything we bought some floor vinyl and put on the floor and side of the IKEA HOL to prevent spillage of hay and easy cleaning of accidents and stray poo. Honestly it was well worth both time and money because we only had to fill twice yesterday which I think is a first. Bunnies love it.

Also boyfriend and I went for a walk and this little dude said hello, I love birds that live near people because this little guy could not care less about us or the cars and just happily sang away.

Ornament bird

I made the second in the set, it was fast and fun, this one is for me. There is only a bad mobile phone picture so you can't really see the beads I added on this one, but I just finished it you see, I'll try and take a new one in the sunlight. Which by the way is really hard this time of year….

Next year, I will make a rabbit in this manner. Just for me.

Bunny is feeling the darkness too and sleeps a little more than usual. Apparently, the door we made for her was too small so she had to fix it. Now there is a window too, and she is busy ripping away at the cardboard floor of her house, because apparently, a floor is not needed.

Tired bunny.

First Advent Ornament

Today I had my mother over for a belated birthday get-together, unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of her present that I made, but I will next time I see her, she really loved her presents and that made me happy.

I was thinking about waiting to show you some ornaments until ornament Onsdag, but then I realized that most of the things I made lately were ornamented gifts, so here is a cat for someone who is a cat person. ^^

And then there is an advent present for my boyfriend. He and his sister used to have a bird each that they hung on the tree but they are looking a bit battered nowadays so I made boyfriend one that would not brake if it fell off the tree;)

And what post would be complete without a bunny pic? Bunny is tired. she has an advent calendar too, but she gets presents everyday. Now who wouldn't get tired of opening gifts everyday?

Why hello there birds

Look, it is up, finally. I bought, without measuring might I add, the bellpull hanger thing. And it fits. The rabbit looks great. One day, he will hang in our hall. Since he says welcome in finnish and norwegian.

And I have added the little bunnies around him too, what do you think?

A Christmas present done.... No idea who for. And it might need ironing. But, look. A birdie. No onto my new stash from sewandso:P

It is the continueation of the fun

I made it into something.... And no surprises to anyone, I made it into a bunny. :P
