Happy Valentines day chart

Or just a generic love one. 

Another early morning without internet made me feel a little desperate and after an hour playing CIV on the computer I decided to do something a bit more sensible. So I made a chart. I am hoping to do some more in the Valentines spirit in time for the big day. This is a good piece to use up all those scraps   of floss and you can pick your favorite part and just stitch some words into a card.

I haven't made any charts in a while so I may be a little rusty though.

Friday Melons and site stuff

Friday Freebie is back. I have been skyping with boyfriend and then I decided to make something new. I know it has been a while since I made a new chart and I know that sometimes it is better to just start something even if you are not feeling very creative. So I did, and I made a small and easy summer chart.

It is not perfect, but it is something, and I like it. 

I have bought melons three times this year, but they have gone sour before I have had a chance to eat them, the weather has been too hot I guess? Anyway I love melon. They look so delicious and pinkish. Melons and strawberrys make me feel so summery.

In other news: I have rearranged a little on my pages on the blog and added more Wips and WiSPs and more finished items and cards and removed the crochet wips page, the plan is to add them to the general wip section later on. I have taken pictures of all my Wips and WiSPs too. So stay tuned as I continue to tweak and update my page.

Bunny is telling me I am boring, even if I give lots of head-rubs. She follows me everywhere and I have to be real careful not to step on her. This is a picture of me eating on the sofa, when someone from below demanded cuddles and I obliged. Look at all that demolishing  redecorating she has done...

Party all night long Friday

It is really beginning to spring here. This week I saw the first little wildflower by the road. Other excitement followed where boyfriend and I was almost killed by a falling piece of lumber. The working people had failed to put up signs that they were working. And suddenly while we were minding our own business and walking we heard some frantic whistling and yelling, and boyfriend dragged me by the side. Apparently a little while later he heard a bang where the falling lumber had fallen. I was still busy thinking about all that wood for the bunny to chew....

Boyfriend and I have been playing a lot of Rayman lately for the playstation, so it has been cutting into my stitching time. But I have done some more black on Frederick. Hard to see black on black, but I promise I've done alot.

Secret WiSP 2. A small preview. If anyone recognizes this piece please keep it to yourself until may;) But I just had to show all the sparkling shiny threads. I am a sucker for sparkly things.

I have cheated a bit to start on Henry's head. I felt he would become a bit less scary with a head, but I think I might be mistaken. He looks very ghostlike. And he wasn't even beheaded!

Freebie Friday! A kokeshi. I love Kokeshi's.  And for some reason, they felt springy so I wanted to do one in green. I probably should have made a kappa to boot, since we are in the green japanese corner. But maybe next time. If anyone asks for one;)

And bunny got a branch of her own to chew. She wanted to sit in her cage whilst chewing so. I complied. :) I love my bunny! Even if she chews on my furniture.

Spring has Sprung

So here is a chart I made. I am hoping some dandelions appear soon so that bunny will be happy and I can start drying them for next winter. Lol. We ran out of dandelion before Christmas this last winter and bunny was not pleased. There was no way I was going to buy any because it was ridiculously expensive...

But anyway, we are waiting for spring and here is a free chart.

Happy Easter

This morning bunny and I started crocheting again. This pattern was found here. It has been a long time since I crochet anything, but this time I made sure that my arms were supported by a duvet. :)

So, come on easter, we are almost ready!

I am hoping to design a small easter cross stitch so watch this space!

Now we are going to boyfriends parents for dinner. Hope the bunny will manage, this is the fist time she is alone since she was sick for more than an hour... I can tell you I am a bit worried.

AND I will finish another head tonight! Yatta.

To be honest I am still not comfortable with Ursa's iPad cross stitch program. I find it hard to use and the backstitching is horrible and it does not have all the features the real version does. So I'll be happy when I download that to my new computer. Boyfriend said he'd help but he is busy with his masters...
