Bunday Photos

We have been doing some clean-outs these past few days, where I put things in piles, with keep, donate, and throw away, this pillow ended therefore on the floor in our living room and the bunnies commandeered it. Since they were so much in love with it I put the pillow next to the sofa and everyone seems happy.

Valmin loves it. He licks it and takes a nap on it.

Mimle loves it too, although in her eyes it is a bit lumpy and needs to be flattened, so that is what she is doing most of the time. (To be honest us humans thought it was a bit lumpy as well, my aunt bought me this pillow when I was 15-ish so it has been loved a lot and the inside are now less pillow-y and more lumpy, which is the reason it was in the discard pile...)

Anyway, since both bunnies think this pillow is the best thing that happened to them all year none of us humans have the heart to throw it away, so it stays until Mimle has chewed through it or Valmin pees on it...

We humans are a bit soft hearted.

Tadah, I made a pillow

Since I quite like to finish things (you can't really tell by my long list of wips can you, but I really do like to finish things, I just easily get bored) I sat up all night making this little pillow. I quite like it. And since my sewing machine is still not in the new flat I sewed it all by hand and my arm quite hurts. Moving has turned out to not be too good to my body, I have bruises everywhere, my knee is sore with a huge bruise, I sprained my ankle, my arms are heavy and my back is aching. Rather fun actually, but now I can sit and watch TV and stitch! I also found the box with wips, so no more starts for me:( Too bad as I was enjoying those mini finishes (well, one mine finish).

And our cabinet is looking fuller each day. Look at all the bunnies? Adorable.

At the moment I am stitching a Permin wall hanging with a rabbit and daffodil that I started quite some time ago, I love stitching this, and I hope I will have it finished soon so that it can be with its pair.
I bought it way back here. An here is where I started from, I don't think I have touched this since I showed you my wips list.

I will leave you here with some bunny pictures, the bunnies seem to have gotten over their little tiff yesterday, but I am still on edge. Mimle still runs hiding if Valmin is a little rough, but I have spotted them sitting together in a little bunny ball. They are adorable. But it is getting a little hard giving him his meds every six hours, I want at least eight hours solid sleep soon as I am getting cranky.

These pictures are a couple of days old, but they still huddle together like this I just don't want to bother them with taking a picture in case it disturbs their frail peace.

I love my bunnies. I just hope they love each other. I know they love me, because when Valmin was chasing Mimle, she went and hid next to me. I gave her some cuddles and she was happy, happy enough that when Valmin came she stayed so that I could pet them both next to each other.

Look at his poor ear, it is healing though. I hope he won't have a big hole in his ear forever...

Crochet Madness

At work yesterday I started to crochet a bit again for the coming fall fair, and I realized I missed it. So I got my sturdy 0,6 hook and started to craft a Christmas present. I have made my list of people receiving  gifts and for some I have made suggestions on what to give in pencil and written in marker the things I have already purchased or made. And, wait for it, I have four partial gifts and one completely ready to go!

Anyway. I have successfully made the front. And those of you eagle eyed can probably tell that I have used the yarn before? It is the remnants of my poncho adventure here:
Bunny is not impressed, but she is not easy to impress though. If it is not edible she will scoff at it and walk away.

And here you can see what it will become. I think I will buy a cheap pillow from IKEA and modify it so it fits;) On that note, I need to buy some backing fabric. I think it should be in greys....

On another note, bunny is feeling much better. Next time she stops eating and hides somewhere to sulk I better give tummy rubs and critical care ASAP. ( at least I can give CC after I have felt her tummy and have found out it is not bloated and she does not have constipation.)
Sillybunny.

She is now munching away on her hay like she never had a tummy ache. Honestly. Making me worry. I was so relieved when the poops finally came yesterday. I could not go to bed before she did her business, the joys of bunnyownerhood.  (I think I made up another word). I am not sure boyfriend and I would be good parents with all our worrying for usually nothing.

Oh yeah, and with regards to my bunny panel adventure, I am still not done with the backstitching, but this does not count as another start since it is not cross-stitch right? I will finish it this week, but with bunny sickly it was not easy to craft. I had to be on constant lookout for stray poops (yes, us bunny owners are mad, but bunny poop is the best way to diagnose a bunny) or any dreaded head-tilts or other signs of parasites. The vet is thinking an ear -infection, but we are hoping the culprit for the bad bunny attitude is just the molting season.

But now that she is better everything feels light and easy:D

So, this is Christmas

Now that the secret season is over, here are some of the gifts I made this year:

Here is boyfriends Christmas-gift. The Star-Trek design I made and Michael Dorn's autograph.

I made this pillow for last Christmas, but I didn't finish it, this year however I did. And a good thing too, because the books I bought for my friend didn't come in time for Christmas.

I made this design, After Rhona's bookmarks in a Cross stitch (crazy?) magazine. Because I was going to give my friend (same friend as in the above text) some Sherlock Holmes books I thought this fitted and made an awesome gift, less awesome I guess without the books. You might not even know it is a bookmark without the books.

Oh, and I have new glasses. Yay. What do you think? Thank you to my mum who bought them for me.

This was also a gift I started last year.... But didn't finish until the last minute. But it was my first crochet clothing and adjusting the granny stripe pattern into a poncho. I like it, the yarn is yummy, but sadly they have stopped making it. So atleast I have some finishes this year;)

Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

The big WIP finishing day

I am making progress on my WIP-pile. Today, I finished one of my bunny pillows, and I am done with the Fuzzy Moon card. (picture to come)

Did I tell you that I am done with 1 out of 2 wedding-cards? Just need to buy cards... I did tell you that, I remember now.
But! I am almost done with the owls, my friend told me a fun pun, and I am making moss under the owls, and then I need to make the letters on it. It will be great, can't wait to show you! Need to go finish that. And then, need to find more WIP's so that this will be the big WIP finishing day!

To be continued...

Here is the Fizzy Moon card. I cheated on the french knots again.... I am going to put him under some books again, so that the glue will stick, but I had to take him out to show you, I just could not help myself... ^^

My Christmas sock is done. I am practicing my machine sewing, but I am still not very good.... But, hoorah, it is done. My friends will probably recognize the top fabric. ;) But I did not wear them much, too small;)I got the idea from E2 to reuse the panties.

Backstitching done. And it only took me two hours... Don't ask me why I didn't do it sooner. But better late than never. Also, am waiting for it to dry, so that I can add letters and a heart. ^^ Aishiteru Anata <3
