Summer is almost over but I have a song I wanted to show off. Now that Buono, Berryz Kobou and C-ute is over and Momoko has graduated complety I am feeling the loss, and so I have turned to listening to some oldies and rediscovering Buono songs and I found Pink Cres, Miya from Buono and Berryz Koubo have teamed up with two unknown girls and I listen and try to have fun fun fun.
But it is not that easy with all the rain that is pouring outside.
Can you spot the crochet outfit in the video?
Maybe that is next to make?
I am still busy with gifts and blankets and those are not fun to show off when all I do is adding another exactly the same but maybe in a different colour square? or I can't show them off because I have not given them away yet... So we will see.
Another Tsunku song. I must say I love this song as well. The pv is not as cheap as most H!P pv's, and the girls look fierce. I adore the dance and the beat and the feel and I have been playing it non-stop since it came.
And on the 29th I will buy all three songs while I wait for my copy from Japan that I hope Miss.Felt has procured for me. ^^
Today I feel not as devastated of their imminent departure but more melancholy and with anticipation in regards to their imminent concert. Yay concert.
The second song on the single, this one is written by Tsunku, he asked the girls what their thoughts were and wrote this song which I think is nice.
The Pv is stunning, and I do like the concept of all the leaders and sub-leaders of H!P to dance in the background even if it looks a bit mis-matched. I think it would have looked better with different outfits and less white room...
Although the lyrics are nice and the girls look happy I would not have liked this song as the only song in the single, but it does complement the others.
It is Tuesday again, and ℃-ute is releasing their final single on the 29th of this month, and as usual it is a three songs single, the first of the three songs are here.
『ファイナルスコール』
Final Squall,
I am not sure which squall they are talking about, the wind kind or the scream kind or both.
サヨナラ, just that word.
I like the song, reading the lyrics they seem meaningful and appropriate. Somehow the song is both upbeat and genki as C-ute is but also sad and bittersweet like a last song should. I was afraid they would have trouble topping off the last release, but this song is a good goodbye. I like it, I don't like saying goodbye, but the song is still a good goodbye song...
The farewell seems imminent and unavoidable, I feel sad, there will never be another C-ute for me, they are special, mostly since I have followed them from the beginning.
I will miss C-ute a lot, and I hope the next two songs on the single will be just as good and send the girls off properly. C-ute is the group for me where all the members shine and have great stage presence and charisma, they can dance and sing and move our hearts, I actually care about them and at the moment the other groups of H!P are a bit hit and miss, some girls are great, some songs are great but they are not as strong as C-ute, but then again, they have been together for so long.
So when there is no more C-ute I am not sure what I will find, if the other groups can step up a bit, they are not bad, but, they are just not C-ute.
Lately there is a commercial from Matprat about reindeer and I found I really liked the song, so I did a little detective work and found the song, and I have been listening to it on repeat all week.
I love this song. <3
Life is slow, bunnies are napping and I have been reading, helping my mother and am still crocheting. I have been good and not started on any more baby gifts for the baby shower this week, which might be a first for me, I mean not starting new things and stressing to finish. But there is still time;)
Love the neon black light parts, love the effects, even though the mv is a bit cheap looking... Not sure about the clothes, they work in the light effects, I like the jackets and the flapping with them...
But I do think the speaking part was somewhat silly, sorry Akane.
I don't really have that much to say about this song, the other songs are too much on my mind, humming about making it hard for anything else to stick, which doesn't say much about this song, but a lot about the other songs on my brain from C-ute...
The other two songs on the single are not that interesting to me to be honest, which is a bit sad because I want to like then, it seems they put some effort in the mv's too, but I do really like this one so that is something I guess. :) The other two songs from the single, sexy cat and sou ja nai. If I have to make a list it would go, Mukidashi de Mukiatte/ Sou ja Nai/ Sexy cat no Enzetsu
Other songs I have rediscovered this last month are:
Urayanjau, which I think is awesome, when I first saw it I wasn't sure, but it grew on me and I am filled with lots of spirit when I hear it and I so want to sing with it, too bad my voice is still not recovered after my flue last week. The lyrics to this song is gret too.
Iron heart, is the second song I have been humming too this past week, it is like an newer version of jump, when I first heard it I wanted to go to a concert and dance around to this song with a towel. The energy on this is great, next time I am washing the house I am putting this on and dancing.
I love the pumping and learning parts and the lyrics are inspiring. I love the dance and the whimsical-ness (is that a word?) I love C-ute and will miss them a lot.
It is rare that I L O V E all three songs on a single these days, but C-ute is leaving us with a great single (if it is the last, I am hoping at least one more single, a cd or the like, and that single has hard competition with this triple single)
Singing ~ just like back in the day~
These two songs (first song was last week) feels very final and celebratory of C-ute and their journey,
They have done their best for so long, this song is written by Tsunku.
~Love is like static electricity~
C-ute goes back to their cute days and sings another sweet tune.
I love the static glued letters, such a nice touch. But why does Chisato wear that awful skirt? It clashes with the soft hues on the others clothes...
The C-ute girls are chameleons and can be fierce, cute, funny and professionals, I will really miss them, no one in H!P are on their level yet....
I am buying all of these songs!
Other than that *Kio and I are still having fun doing water aerobics and yesterday gachastitches started another pattern, hopefully it will turn out good and we can give it out. But in the mean time we are still chugging along on the Harens Saganatt, which will be published soon;)
I am too tired to really write anything about this song, although I have a lot to say, but I think it will suffice to say that this may be my all time favourite C-ute song and the music video is super cool and Halloween-y. (Which makes it a lot more fun that it will be released on November the second XD)
I am definitely buying it, and in the mean time I am listening to it on repeat.
But since I am tired and all after getting up to a normal doctors visit to check my blood after about four hours of sleep. I somehow lost my crochet hook yesterday while I was taking a picture of my wip and I spent about an hour searching for it... I search several places several times and suddenly it was inside one of the ottoman thingies, which I know I searched three times. So now I am thinking I am either blind, too tired, we have ghosts, house-elves or the bunnies somehow are more mischievous than I thought...
Juice=Juice with Dream road kokoro ga odoridashiteru,
another song from the concerts, and I must say it really grew on me, to the point that I really love it, however I am not so sure about the new edit of it, somehow it was different in the concert and when shown on the girls live... Even though the dance is somewhat quirky I like it and it worked very good on the concert.
I like that in the video the flower petals are in the colours of each member and that those shots are shot in reverse. I hate how it sort of fades out when the song is done though...
Keep on Joshou Shiko!! is another good song from this single, but I haven't heard the last yet so I don't have anything to say about it.
All in all I am hoping this single will make me follow Juice=juice more, they were so promising in the beginning with the saxophones and stuff but then they turned a little meh, Juice=Juice is a strong group and they are good but it doesn't help if I find their songs boring, which thankfully this single I don't. ^^
So heres to juice=juice I hope they will grow on me because next summer when there is no more C-ute I need an interesting group and sadly Angerme is lacking I think, and they are too big, Country Girls I do like, MM is a bit meh these days too, except Masaki, and in regards to Kobushi Factory they are still so new so it is hard to tell, but I loved the last single. Tsubaki is meh, except Hitorijime...
Anyway, it is October and it is starting to be colder these days. I like the colder days, Mister M and I try to take a walk everyday and the air is crisp and clear, even if Mister M complains that he can't see the stars too well.
The other song from the single I showed last week. I love how the Japanese can have such sad lyrics and happy tunes, and it shows that they are spending money on this group, both videos are stellar.
Namida no request, another cover, this time from The Checkers, an older group of all men. Another thing I love about Japan is it seems like they don't care that much if the song seems to be made from a male perspective and have girls sing it...
And my new oshi (and mister M's too) is the sax girl, she is adorable and seems smart and talented.
I love this video and I love the heart sunglasses.
Oops, I may have slightly forgotten what day it was, and I owe you lot a Wednesday Wedding Square too, but in the meantime, listen to another strong single from Country Girls.
With C-ute soon to disband, Momoko is the last of the Hello Project kids and the last of the era I started liking.
Yellow Newbie chan looks really scary at times, but the cameraman sure likes her, but Nanami in purple is my favourite after Momoko. And she plays the saxophone in the other video and I heard she does in the recording too? Also Mister M though she was super funny in the concert (I did too) but with Momochi-senpai guiding this group I am not surprised they are good at talking and being funny.
But anyway, this and it's coupling song Namida no request seems fun and strong and still in the fifties mode which suits them nicely. Look at how much higher heels Momoko has than the kids.
I am thinking Country girls or Kobushi Factory might be my new favourite group after C-ute....
I am not sure who started this picture, so I can't credit them. But this picture makes me sad. Good thing June is still a way off... I sure hope C-ute will go to Europe before they quit so I can go!
It is Tuesday again, and I want to show a song from the concert I actually loved, they sang a lot of new songs that I had never heard before.
Like Tsubaki Factory and their new song Hitorijime, Counrty girls with Dou datte ii no and Juice=Juice with Keep on Joshou Shikou!! and Dream Road~ Kokoro ga Odoridashiteru.
None of these have been released as singles yet and I don't think I have a clear favourite, but both Juice=Juice songs are growing on me and Dou datte iii no seems a lot of fun but we will see.
But I can tell you that I really liked all of them, although none of the songs stayed on my mind after the concert, there were so many other brain worming songs in both concerts. Like Summer Reggae! Rainbow, Maji Bomber, Dot bikini, Hatsukoi Cider, Goodbye Natsuo, Ora wa ninkimono, Boogie Woogie Love, Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru, Crazy Kanzen na Otona, Genkimono de ikou, Utakata Saturday Night, Itoshikutte Gomen ne and Samba Kobushi Janeiro which all left me humming the next few days, but I do remember trying to dance to Dream Road~ Kokoro ga Odaridashiteru using my glowstick with various results.... It was fun! The concert hall was much smaller than I thought, and everyone stood by their seats for the entire concert which started at the dot of announced time, I LOVE Japanese concerts, why everything can't start when they said they would is beyond me and really stupid. Can you see the small disco ball in the ceiling? Even though our seats where not the best we saw everything. From C-ute's disbandment message to Masaki not being able to sit still to Makoto's mushroom hairdo. I would love to see another concert later.
We went to the Nakano Sun Plaza concerts on Saturday the 20th and Sunday 21st of August. In blazing sun we stood outside in the cue for goods where a nice Japanese Wota helped me to buy my stash... On day one we saw Sunshine parade just the two of us, and on day two on Rainbow Carnival, our friend Miss Felt came too. She hasn't been a fan in years so it was nice that some really old songs were sung in that concert. And I finally saw the dance of Shanimuni Paradise live, that dance is ridiculous. Mister M loves it since it is so dumb. And I saw C-ute do Momoiro Sparkling which made me happy. I would so L O V E to see them in concert, they have such great songs and on stage personality that a joint concert can't really express. Since they will be disbanding in 10 months I don't have much time, but that would be a dream come true.
Tsubaki Factory with Hitorijime.
I have shown this song already, but none of the others are out yet and I do so love this song.
I bought a lot of fan stash in Japan. We not only went to the concerts, but the Hello!Project store and Tower Records where I could see their autographs and their section of albums and DVD's. I must confess I bought some a lot.
A Hello!Project t-shirt I sported on concert day number two and two towels of my current favourite groups. I also bought a C-ute wrist thing. Mister M borrowed one of my towels for the concerts.
And we had glowsticks, I do somewhat regret not buying a C-ute one, but the generic one is fine, it sparkles.
I bought a C-ute towel with their faces since this is their last H!P tour, a Sato Masaki cloth and picture, and a gacha gacha where I "won" the picture of Angerme Kamikokuryo Moe, I think, and since I have somewhat not loved them since both my favourites left I am thinking this means she will be my new favourite...
At the H!P store I bought a C-ute bag, umbrella, Country girls pin, Buono scrunchie and a cell phone thing not in the picture. Since I spent som much money I got all the small pictures for free. Japan is big on the "gifts" you get for buying stuff. So I got Masaki, Duu, all of C-ute and Momoko. And I bought Kobushi Factory last single since one of those songs where not on iTunes and C-ute last album and six Concert DvD's where two of them where double so I kind of got eight for the price of six.
I could have bought so much more but we worried a little about the suitcase space. We may have bought 18 kilos of omiyage and treats. But Mister M bought lots of manga, so it was not all me.
The bunnies are true C-ute fans I think, they came running and plonked down on my t-shirt the second I was done displaying it on the floor.
Another a little bit older song, from 2013 from when Juice=Juice where newbies, I remember I loved this song and had such high hopes for this group, and I must confess a lot of their songs are a hit or miss, I like about half and none as much as those four-ish first songs.
But in this concert they have shaken it up and some newish songs are sung by other groups and I am looking forward to the Factories to sing this. I love the dance even though there are some awkward parts but that is Hello!Project for you.
Juice=Juice will sing this Angerme song and Angerme will in turn sing Chotto Guchoku ni! Chototsumoushin from Tsubaki factory.
I think this song is Ok.
I look forward to seeing Morning Musume sing Itoshikutte Gomen ne though.
A 2001 song, Tropica~l Koishite~ru by Matsuura Aya, not my favourite Ayaya song, but cute and genki. I wish Ayaya were still active.
If you want to see the complete list of songs for the concert(s) click here. Only a few more days to go. I can't wait. I need glowsticks, and towels and t shirts and things.
This song will be in the concert and sung by these members, this song is brand new. Another Tsunku song and it shows, I really like this song, the music video looks like it has gotten some money spent on it too and I like it a lot, the manga like section really makes the video. And I love the clothes, they fit the song perfectly. I must confess I haven't looked all that much at this group but I think I might now.
There is this time-machine slot where they sing songs from the year some members where born and those songs alternate so that they might not be sung, and so far there are songs from 1999, 2000 and 2001, and I like one song from each so I am happy with whatever year they choose. They might even sing newer time machine songs I guess.
Since I am pretty sure I have shown the I wish song by Morning Musume before here is the heartbreaking version from Tsui and Kago's graduation.
I L O V E this song!
TsujixKago have been my all time favourite idols and this song has been on my playlist for years.
The lyrics to this song are also lovely, Kago's last line is awesome, I can't believe how they sing this whilst crying.
Only one more Tuesday tunes before the concert, I still have had some trouble finding some of the newer songs, so here are a couple of oldies but goodies.
Aya Matsuura Good bye Natsuo
I wish I had seen Matsuura live, too bad she graduated so many years ago, she was great. But this song is epic, and since no one can compare to Ayaya, I have doubts as to how good this could be sung by some of the newbies, but since it is sung by all I have hopes that it will be ok. This song is really hard to sing.
Usually sung by Petit Moni I had to show my favourite H!P group W singing it live. I am not sure this will be in the concert since they seem to change some songs, but this song is great live. Wahahaha
night fever, yes, I have a slight fever and I have Kobushi Factory's last single stuck in my head, but there is another song from this group which I really love lately
-Samba- Kobushi Janeiro-
Hashire- dashx3 Takaku-Jumpx3 Odore-Dancex3
I love this song, makes me kind of want to watch the Olympics, I wish this song was the official Olympics song! This is again a three song single, but this one is my favourite!
-If you keep dancing you'll get it eventually- #words to live by
This song will be on the concert, the next few weeks until the concert I will show some of the songs that I love hat will be on it!
Also this is another song I have had on repeat for the past few days,
-Berryz koubou, Succha ka Meccha ka-
This dance is awesome! And the song is so happy, I want to dance. さすが Tsunku-san
keru-keru-keru
Yes, and another swimming gesture whilst dancing, Hello!Project is really good at that.
Also the last song I have had on my repeat which I blame completely on my fever is Caramelldansen.
Please watch at your own discretion. XD
I have not been idle even though I have spent my time mostly sleeping and getting sympathy licks from Mimle, I have tried watching TV and not remembering anything, reading and having the same problem and crocheting and really using the yarn. i.e., having to frog and start over several times due to not having a working brain, but it is progressing.
So, I just realised I forgot to post the post I made on Tuesday! Oops, but better late than never. Even though I still listen to all the songs from last week, (I even bought them all) I re-found this Angerme song from April. I remember I loved it when I heard it, but it was too painful seeing Meimi and knowing she would graduate soon and I was not over Kanon leaving yet and seeing Angerme without her was weird...
Please excuse the stupid hat. (Yes, newbie I am looking at you) Someone should fire the people who came up with that hat, the other hats are fine I think.
The pants look a bit strange too but I can live with that XD
The newbies sound good too. Which is surprising. I love the lyrics even though I hardly understand anything since it is in a dialect of some sort, but I still sing suitou-to or whatever it is.
Also when did Ayacho learn to sing? :O
このまま終わりなんて嫌なの お願い近づかないで
kono mama owari nante iya na no onegai chikazukanai de
I don't want to break up this way I don't want this to end...
だって仕方ないやん datte shika nai yan Because I can't help it.
Do you like it? I think it is my favourite of the three singles. Which one do you like?
Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku or Koi Nara tokku ni hajimatteru or this, Itoshima Distance?
The first has a fun name, hate the rapping though but the dance, the start and chorus I like a lot!
My love already begun a while ago by Tsunku, and I love the clothes, casual and cool, love the letters in the video, love the place the movie is shot, love the naze and nee's, love the lyrics, the chorus is
nice and I love how it sounds like there are too many words in some lines so they need to be sung fast, love the dance.
But still I haven't listened to this a lot. Must be me missing my Kanon and
Meimi who was the only ones I loved in this group...
So because it is Tuesday and I like to share, not just to you, but to myself kind of like a diary of hits, here are this weeks selection.
This song is a bit older and I think this is one of the songs my friend Evi wanted me to listen to, I know I have heard and liked it before, but I found it again while looking at men dancing morning musume and then found this song.
Jump like me.
The dance looks easy but I am pretty sure I could never dance like this;)
踊りたい
odoritai.
I want to dance! So I am dancing around to this and singing, although I must confess that my moves look nothing like this >.<
And I will miss Kanon, the one in blue talking and DJ-ing who just graduated. I have felt too bad to mention her and my two favourites of Angerme graduating. (Tamura Meimi and Fukuda Kanon)
At least Fukuda sings on her IG sometimes.
And I have not been idle, I have crocheted our patternSøtten in pink and purple for a summer party.
Almost two balls of yarn, I haven't weighed them though, and some white scraps for the thread on top.
What do you think?
And we are very close to releasing our next pattern as well.
