It is Tuesday again, and ℃-ute is releasing their final single on the 29th of this month, and as usual it is a three songs single, the first of the three songs are here.
『ファイナルスコール』
Final Squall,
I am not sure which squall they are talking about, the wind kind or the scream kind or both.
サヨナラ, just that word.
I like the song, reading the lyrics they seem meaningful and appropriate. Somehow the song is both upbeat and genki as C-ute is but also sad and bittersweet like a last song should. I was afraid they would have trouble topping off the last release, but this song is a good goodbye. I like it, I don't like saying goodbye, but the song is still a good goodbye song...
The farewell seems imminent and unavoidable, I feel sad, there will never be another C-ute for me, they are special, mostly since I have followed them from the beginning.
I will miss C-ute a lot, and I hope the next two songs on the single will be just as good and send the girls off properly. C-ute is the group for me where all the members shine and have great stage presence and charisma, they can dance and sing and move our hearts, I actually care about them and at the moment the other groups of H!P are a bit hit and miss, some girls are great, some songs are great but they are not as strong as C-ute, but then again, they have been together for so long.
So when there is no more C-ute I am not sure what I will find, if the other groups can step up a bit, they are not bad, but, they are just not C-ute.
Love the neon black light parts, love the effects, even though the mv is a bit cheap looking... Not sure about the clothes, they work in the light effects, I like the jackets and the flapping with them...
But I do think the speaking part was somewhat silly, sorry Akane.
I don't really have that much to say about this song, the other songs are too much on my mind, humming about making it hard for anything else to stick, which doesn't say much about this song, but a lot about the other songs on my brain from C-ute...
The other two songs on the single are not that interesting to me to be honest, which is a bit sad because I want to like then, it seems they put some effort in the mv's too, but I do really like this one so that is something I guess. :) The other two songs from the single, sexy cat and sou ja nai. If I have to make a list it would go, Mukidashi de Mukiatte/ Sou ja Nai/ Sexy cat no Enzetsu
Other songs I have rediscovered this last month are:
Urayanjau, which I think is awesome, when I first saw it I wasn't sure, but it grew on me and I am filled with lots of spirit when I hear it and I so want to sing with it, too bad my voice is still not recovered after my flue last week. The lyrics to this song is gret too.
Iron heart, is the second song I have been humming too this past week, it is like an newer version of jump, when I first heard it I wanted to go to a concert and dance around to this song with a towel. The energy on this is great, next time I am washing the house I am putting this on and dancing.
I love the pumping and learning parts and the lyrics are inspiring. I love the dance and the whimsical-ness (is that a word?) I love C-ute and will miss them a lot.
It is rare that I L O V E all three songs on a single these days, but C-ute is leaving us with a great single (if it is the last, I am hoping at least one more single, a cd or the like, and that single has hard competition with this triple single)
Singing ~ just like back in the day~
These two songs (first song was last week) feels very final and celebratory of C-ute and their journey,
They have done their best for so long, this song is written by Tsunku.
~Love is like static electricity~
C-ute goes back to their cute days and sings another sweet tune.
I love the static glued letters, such a nice touch. But why does Chisato wear that awful skirt? It clashes with the soft hues on the others clothes...
The C-ute girls are chameleons and can be fierce, cute, funny and professionals, I will really miss them, no one in H!P are on their level yet....
I am buying all of these songs!
Other than that *Kio and I are still having fun doing water aerobics and yesterday gachastitches started another pattern, hopefully it will turn out good and we can give it out. But in the mean time we are still chugging along on the Harens Saganatt, which will be published soon;)
I am too tired to really write anything about this song, although I have a lot to say, but I think it will suffice to say that this may be my all time favourite C-ute song and the music video is super cool and Halloween-y. (Which makes it a lot more fun that it will be released on November the second XD)
I am definitely buying it, and in the mean time I am listening to it on repeat.
But since I am tired and all after getting up to a normal doctors visit to check my blood after about four hours of sleep. I somehow lost my crochet hook yesterday while I was taking a picture of my wip and I spent about an hour searching for it... I search several places several times and suddenly it was inside one of the ottoman thingies, which I know I searched three times. So now I am thinking I am either blind, too tired, we have ghosts, house-elves or the bunnies somehow are more mischievous than I thought...
I love this video and I love the heart sunglasses.
Oops, I may have slightly forgotten what day it was, and I owe you lot a Wednesday Wedding Square too, but in the meantime, listen to another strong single from Country Girls.
With C-ute soon to disband, Momoko is the last of the Hello Project kids and the last of the era I started liking.
Yellow Newbie chan looks really scary at times, but the cameraman sure likes her, but Nanami in purple is my favourite after Momoko. And she plays the saxophone in the other video and I heard she does in the recording too? Also Mister M though she was super funny in the concert (I did too) but with Momochi-senpai guiding this group I am not surprised they are good at talking and being funny.
But anyway, this and it's coupling song Namida no request seems fun and strong and still in the fifties mode which suits them nicely. Look at how much higher heels Momoko has than the kids.
I am thinking Country girls or Kobushi Factory might be my new favourite group after C-ute....
I am not sure who started this picture, so I can't credit them. But this picture makes me sad. Good thing June is still a way off... I sure hope C-ute will go to Europe before they quit so I can go!
It is Tuesday again, and I want to show a song from the concert I actually loved, they sang a lot of new songs that I had never heard before.
Like Tsubaki Factory and their new song Hitorijime, Counrty girls with Dou datte ii no and Juice=Juice with Keep on Joshou Shikou!! and Dream Road~ Kokoro ga Odoridashiteru.
None of these have been released as singles yet and I don't think I have a clear favourite, but both Juice=Juice songs are growing on me and Dou datte iii no seems a lot of fun but we will see.
But I can tell you that I really liked all of them, although none of the songs stayed on my mind after the concert, there were so many other brain worming songs in both concerts. Like Summer Reggae! Rainbow, Maji Bomber, Dot bikini, Hatsukoi Cider, Goodbye Natsuo, Ora wa ninkimono, Boogie Woogie Love, Samidare Bijo ga Samidareru, Crazy Kanzen na Otona, Genkimono de ikou, Utakata Saturday Night, Itoshikutte Gomen ne and Samba Kobushi Janeiro which all left me humming the next few days, but I do remember trying to dance to Dream Road~ Kokoro ga Odaridashiteru using my glowstick with various results.... It was fun! The concert hall was much smaller than I thought, and everyone stood by their seats for the entire concert which started at the dot of announced time, I LOVE Japanese concerts, why everything can't start when they said they would is beyond me and really stupid. Can you see the small disco ball in the ceiling? Even though our seats where not the best we saw everything. From C-ute's disbandment message to Masaki not being able to sit still to Makoto's mushroom hairdo. I would love to see another concert later.
We went to the Nakano Sun Plaza concerts on Saturday the 20th and Sunday 21st of August. In blazing sun we stood outside in the cue for goods where a nice Japanese Wota helped me to buy my stash... On day one we saw Sunshine parade just the two of us, and on day two on Rainbow Carnival, our friend Miss Felt came too. She hasn't been a fan in years so it was nice that some really old songs were sung in that concert. And I finally saw the dance of Shanimuni Paradise live, that dance is ridiculous. Mister M loves it since it is so dumb. And I saw C-ute do Momoiro Sparkling which made me happy. I would so L O V E to see them in concert, they have such great songs and on stage personality that a joint concert can't really express. Since they will be disbanding in 10 months I don't have much time, but that would be a dream come true.
Tsubaki Factory with Hitorijime.
I have shown this song already, but none of the others are out yet and I do so love this song.
I bought a lot of fan stash in Japan. We not only went to the concerts, but the Hello!Project store and Tower Records where I could see their autographs and their section of albums and DVD's. I must confess I bought some a lot.
A Hello!Project t-shirt I sported on concert day number two and two towels of my current favourite groups. I also bought a C-ute wrist thing. Mister M borrowed one of my towels for the concerts.
And we had glowsticks, I do somewhat regret not buying a C-ute one, but the generic one is fine, it sparkles.
I bought a C-ute towel with their faces since this is their last H!P tour, a Sato Masaki cloth and picture, and a gacha gacha where I "won" the picture of Angerme Kamikokuryo Moe, I think, and since I have somewhat not loved them since both my favourites left I am thinking this means she will be my new favourite...
At the H!P store I bought a C-ute bag, umbrella, Country girls pin, Buono scrunchie and a cell phone thing not in the picture. Since I spent som much money I got all the small pictures for free. Japan is big on the "gifts" you get for buying stuff. So I got Masaki, Duu, all of C-ute and Momoko. And I bought Kobushi Factory last single since one of those songs where not on iTunes and C-ute last album and six Concert DvD's where two of them where double so I kind of got eight for the price of six.
I could have bought so much more but we worried a little about the suitcase space. We may have bought 18 kilos of omiyage and treats. But Mister M bought lots of manga, so it was not all me.
The bunnies are true C-ute fans I think, they came running and plonked down on my t-shirt the second I was done displaying it on the floor.
Another song from ℃-ute from the same single, these days H-P makes three sided singles so we get three songs pr single which I am not sure I like. At least not all the time. I prefer last weeks song to this, but this song has its moments. I love the line "I know a secret, that is more important than a kiss" somehow it reminds me about husbun and I and our first date.
The music video and lyrics and music works really well together and this time even if the song is rather slow the dance works well. It looks like they splurged a little on this music video and I like it. They all look good, sound great (even Mai!) and I hope this single will sell well.

The spring is finally here with the sun shining and little weeds popping up.
Soon I will be able to forage for the buns as well which I am sure they will be happy with.
Although Mimle knows how to forage herself, here she found a straw in her hayrack and proudly ran about the living room showing it off and eating it warily in case any bun or human tried something.
Valmin was in his own little world as usual and though his head popped up from the tunnel to see what went on he soon decided he wanted to be near Mimle, but still didn't really understand what she was up to and just hang about next to her.
And she ate her whole straw hurriedly with a content look upon her face.
*
Valmin has been enjoying the sun.
He is a little sunbeam lover, but he is not so sure he likes outdoors though.
Mimle does not like sunbeams, and she is terrified of shadows moving poor thing, so we try to have the blinds on when the buns are home alone so nothing freaks Mimle out and she runs into a wall again.
Even if I am busy with the challenge I still wanted to show you my favourite song today. ℃-ute has many good songs, so if you want to check out j-pop I recommend starting with them, they are always experimenting with styles, and vocals and dancing are usually important which is one of the reasons I love them.
So C-ute just released their triple single and I love all songs on it.
I have out the songs in order of how I love them most.
I give this 9 out of 10
Chisato looks great here, but poor Nacky, her skirt looks awkward. The rapping part is great in this song, not ill-fitting like it usually does in an H-P release, but I guess that is because a rapper made that part of the song.
8,5 out of 10
I have no idea what they put Chisato in this time, but the other look great... Everyone talks about how Airi looks like she dyed her her lighter, which it does look like she has...
8 out of 10
The Tsunku song, I like Tsunku and I wish I liked his song best, but I don't, it is still good and the pv is good, they look like office ladies, all adult-like and all.
This time I have some songs to show. Both C-ute and Crayon Pop are one of my all time favorite groups that still exists that is, and since Berryz Koubou is making their last single, I should include them too, but they are not in my top five group list, maybe top ten. But they are still enjoyable. I will miss Momochi, Risako and the background girls.
It is here!
And I LOVE this song by Cute. The music video is rather fun too, seems the company is experimenting with cute's songs and videos now.
What do you think?
My favorite twins from Crayon Pop has formed a sub-unit and made this awesome song. I had to buy the mini album right away. This reminds me of the crazy antics of W. I so wish W would come back, but Way and Choa are cute and funny and fills my sugar level to reasonable heights. I love this kind of sugary up-beat songs, I hope someone will always make such happy little tunes.
I love their dresses. And the song sound so Christmassy, it is nice to listen to Christmassy songs and making gifts without trying to get into the Christmas spirit because it is still pouring here and Christmas needs snow. Anyway, I am happy Momo is without her musubis and Risako looks and sounds great. I like the fu fu white romance and wow wows. To think they used to be background dancers to W.
First it is last weeks single, this is another double sided single and here we finally have the mv.
I love the dance, and C-ute really brings the danceable songs don't they, even I, who never move feel the urge to let loose.
And I like the melody too of course.
Juice=Juice has another single on the steps, and their musical sound is still mature even if it is less jazzy and more latino this time. It really does remind me of both "Namida no Iro" by C-ute and Morning Musume, (back when they were still just musumes) Iroppoi Jirettai.
I love this song too, and if I close my eyes to the lyrics it's fine...
I made a collage of dictionary of technology. What do you think?
I used this site, and I think it turned out pretty good, do you?
As it is Tuesday Tunes today I guess I should show you a song?
This is just insanely stupid. I love the lyrics, it is not really a single, but it will be on their new album. Oh C-ute, you are so fun. I like this sort of MV's, the happy versions, I guess I just fell in love when I saw Robokiss the Happy version by W.
And in other news, bunny is healthy and does not have the e-word. Thankfully. She just drinks with a head tilt suddenly for no apparent reason. (Boyfriend thinks it is because she is trying to limit the amount of whiskers that get wet when drinking and sporting a head tilt whilst drinking ensures that one side remains clean and dry. She really is such a silly pants rabbit.
And another Hello!Project song. C-ute released a double A-sided single, but I must confess I like Adam to Eve no dilemma best. Even if the other music-video is better.
Which one do you like best?
And on Henry, I am steadily making progress, I will show you again soon. ^^
So, I am going to show you what song I am into this week.
But to be honest I just could not get it down to just one. Last week I decided that I would feature the next song on the double sided single, since it is Tanaka Reina's last single and all. But there were so many song this week that have been on constantly in my headphones.
So. I will show you all three of the song I have on my mind.
And yes, they are all japanese and all from the same company, but they are three different groups.
(there was one more song stuck in my head, still japanese, but not from Producer Tsunku's mind and I could not find a decent video, so I will continue to search and one day maybe I can show you.)
First. Morning Musume:
The start is so lame I am loving it. The dresses is supposedly making them look like swans... And poor Masaki made a mistake ( yes, I know their names, and all the members from 1998 until today, I am such a fan)
And then there is c-ute. I love this group. The dance is kind of cool and awkward at the same time, my kind of dance.....
And, this group is totally new, finally Karin is in something good! Juice=Juice new single out today.
Karin is the one in the dweeb shirt;)
And lastly, a picture of my Frederick progress, I am hoping to finish one book a week.
And the yellowish blob on the far right shows I am right in thinking I can do this because that is book number one.
Bunny has switched from morning laps to evening laps around the house. I prefer my bunnies to not be morning persons. But I guess when she is not let out of her pen until we get up she has limited choice in when to exercise. ;)
